Auditoriums and meeting areas

Alexandra Park conference centre features a variety of inside and outdoor meeting and activity spaces. Depending on the size and nature of your group, we’ll tailor the spaces available to meet any special needs of your group.

We have two large auditoriums each featuring audio facilities, data projector and screen. Our largest auditorium includes staging and can be opened into one large area to seat 500, or partitioned off for smaller groups and more intimate spaces.

This auditorium is suitable for large convention gatherings, set up with auditorium seating; conferences and meetings for large groups seated around tables; as well as large functions with catering.

An additional conference room close to Bungalow accommodation comfortably seats 100 and includes a data projector and screen.

Banksia and Acacia accommodation areas also have community meeting spaces attached, with these versatile spaces suiting small and large groups, ideal for daily briefings and gatherings for reflection.

If your group needs extra spaces for breakaway groups, rehearsals or group development activities, please talk to us about what we can offer you. We can also service groups who may require extra large meeting areas for their activities.

Adventure activities

Alexandra Park conference centre offers adventure activities on site for groups who are looking to develop leaders, build teams or learn new skills. In partnership with trusted and accredited providers, we offer a high ropes course, climbing wall, canoeing, raft building, archery and orienteering.

The local surf club is only 200 metres from Alex Park and offers inexpensive surf and beach awareness programs for school and family groups.

Other on site activities and facilities for groups

Many groups build their programming options around the facilities available on site that help to promote self-confidence, develop life skills and encourage initiative.

In addition to adventure activities, we offer access to leisure areas including:

• 25 metre shaded swimming pool
• beach volleyball court
• recreational room equipped with games e.g. table tennis, air hockey and pool table
• outdoor chapel for quiet reflection.
• open grassed areas for team activities.

Disabled access and special requirements

Almost all areas of our site are accessible to people with disabilities. Three of our accommodation rooms are fully equipped for people with disabilities, as are toilets in the main building.
